David Vedova is representing the Christian Heritage Party of Canada as a candidate in the riding of Scarborough Southwest in the 2026 Federal By-election.

David has grown alarmed by the rapid decline in society’s cultural and moral fabric, including the erosion of faith in Christ, the decay of social structures, and the breakdown of families. Most troubling is the war on the unborn and the infirm, the corruption of children, and the growing economic instability that threatens everyone.

David’s message is clear, especially to the nearly 20 million Christians in Canada, all other communities of faith, and sincere lovers of freedom: they must recognize the power of their vote in defending their cherished values.

He rejects the false idea that voting one’s conscience is a “wasted vote.” Instead, David asserts that we must unite in the political sphere to safeguard our faith and the liberty that allows us to live it out.

David reminds us we must be BOLD!

MY TOP ISSUES & CONCERNS

STRONG FAMILIES

The Christian Heritage Party of Canada promotes strong families, and every study on the subject is clear that the best environment for children to grow up in is a two-parent home in which there is both a father and a mother.

And thus the redefinition of marriage to include same-sex couples subjects children to what is widely acknowledged to be a substandard environment.

DEFEND INNOCENT HUMAN LIFE

The Christian Heritage Party has policies to defend innocent human life from conception to natural death. We thus strongly oppose abortion and assisted suicide – which is really medical murder - and would ban both in all but genuinely life-saving circumstances.

There’s an average of 100,000 people in each of our 343 ridings in the country. That’s approximately the number of children who are intentionally killed in abortion clinics and hospitals across our land every year.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Freedom of speech is the second most important right we have next to life itself, as without it we have no way of defending our other rights. And like a muscle it will atrophy unless exercised, and I insist on doing so.

And when by law you can’t tell your son that he’s a boy or your daughter that she’s a girl without the threat of being thrown in jail for five years, that second most important God-given right is history.

And note that not a single Tory raised their voice in protest when the Liberal/NDP coalition pushed Bill C-4 the Conversion Therapy bill through the House of Commons in 2021.
